The State of Queensland is divided into thirteen Regions. Goodna Centre is part of the Metro West Region. Other Centres in our Region are Esk, Rosewood, Ipswich, Centenary, Kenmore and Toowong Harriers.
The clubs from Metro West meet twice a year for Regional Relay Day and Regional Intercentre Games. These competitions primarily provide an opportunity for all athletes from within the Region to meet for friendly competition. The fact they are also qualifying competitions for entry to State Championships is incidental.
